Ozzy Osbourne's family visit pumpkin mural made from 10,000 squashes

The family of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne paid a surprise and emotional visit to a remarkable tribute: a massive mural of the star created from over 10,000 pumpkins and squashes.

The artwork, located at Sunnyfields Farm in Totton, Hampshire, had been on display since the beginning of the month. On Saturday evening, Sharon, Jack, and Kelly Osbourne delighted visitors as they arrived to see the unusual, temporary memorial.

A Fitting Tribute for the Prince of Darkness

The pumpkin portrait honors the life and legacy of the former Black Sabbath frontman, who sadly died on July 22. Ozzy Osbourne had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019.

The family was given a personal tour by Sunnyfields owners Tom and Ian Nelson. For a unique perspective, Sharon and Jack even boarded a cherry picker to view the intricate artwork from above.

  • Location: Sunnyfields Farm, Totton, Hampshire.
  • Materials: Over 10,000 pumpkins and squashes.
  • Creation Time: 16 people worked for over four-and-a-half hours to create the piece.
  • On Display Until: The end of the month.

The stunning piece of seasonal art serves as a heartwarming way for fans to remember the iconic rocker, and the family’s visit underscores the deep connection they continue to share with his supporters.
