Responding to Hurtful Remarks
Kelly Osbourne has spoken out after receiving harsh comments about her appearance on social media. On Monday, the 41-year-old television personality shared a screenshot on her Instagram Story showing a message from a user who described her as “tooooo thin and fragile” and compared her look to that of a “dead body.”
Osbourne responded directly to the comment. “Literally can’t believe how disgusting some human beings truly are!” she wrote. “No one deserves this sort of abuse.” In another Story post, she added, “This too shall pass, but like, holy f—.” Her words made clear that the remarks had affected her, but she also signaled that she intends to move forward.
Backlash After Public Appearance
The criticism came one day after Osbourne attended the Royal Ascot Millinery Collective Spring/Summer 2026 presentation in London. She later posted photos from the event on her Instagram page. While many followers offered support, others left negative messages that focused on her body and overall look.
This is not the first time Osbourne has addressed online bullying. In December, she shared an emotional video in which she condemned what she called “disgusting, horrible, mean, rude comments” that she had been receiving since the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne, in July.
Speaking Openly About Grief and Health
In that earlier video, Osbourne questioned why people expected her to appear unaffected by personal loss. “I’m just here to say, ‘What do you expect from me? What do you expect me to look like right now?’” she said. “The fact that I’m getting out of bed and facing my life and trying to be more than enough, I should be commended for that.”
She went on to explain that she was also dealing with health issues during that period. “For example, you say that I look ill. Well, I am ill right now. My life is completely flipped upside down. I don’t understand how people expect me to bounce back and look like everything is just fine in my life when it’s not.”
Osbourne has often shared personal struggles with her followers, hoping to be honest about her experiences. However, she said the harsh comments were not helpful. They were, in her words, “helping nobody.”

Family Support Amid Online Criticism
In the same video, she addressed those who left hurtful remarks. “They’re just making you feel big and clever and like you’ve achieved something, but all you’ve achieved is being a bully,” Osbourne added. “It’s sick.”
Her mother, Sharon Osbourne, also defended her in an interview with Piers Morgan shortly after the video was posted. “She’s right,” Sharon said at the time. “She’s lost her daddy, she can’t eat right now.”
