Luke Bryan Leaves Fans Emotional After Singing a Shenandoah Classic Backstage With the Legendary Band Following His Crash My Playa Performance

Luke Bryan has done it again by sharing a backstage stage moment that literally left fans in their feels.

The country crooner remains booked and busy with the return of American Idol and gearing up for his Word on the Street tour. However, neither of those things stopped Bryan from having a good time and making some memories following a performance.

In an Instagram video, Bryan revealed one way he keeps things fun while out on the road. After his Luke Bryan and Friends set at Crash My Playa in Riviera Cancún, Mexico, Bryan gave an impromptu backstage performance of the Shenandoah hit “Two Dozen Roses,” with some of the band in attendance.

“Cheers to 11 years Crash My Playa,” the country singer declared before breaking out into song as members of Shenandoah and Dierks Bentley were spotted enjoying Bryan’s backstage moment.

“Fun times backstage at @crashmyplaya singin some @shenandoahband with the legends themselves,” read the caption on Bryan’s social media share.

Fans got a kick out of the Instagram video and popped into the comments to let Bryan know it.

“My heart warms when I see this, because the moment Luke sees Shenandoah coming, he focuses on them in the midst of all the joy 🫶🤗👏,” declared a fan. Another fan added, “We can feel the love…& Dierks can REALLY feel it! So cool to have Shenandoah there this year 🩵🩷.”

One fan stated, “Looks like ya all had a great time 😂❤️.” “A good group of people with Luke Bryan,” wrote a different fan.

“So awesome❤️” “Awesome🎉🍾” and “Love this!” were more comments.

This isn’t the first time Bryan has covered the iconic band Shenandoah. Bryan and Jason Aldean released their own rendition of “Sunday in the South” back in 2024.

There’s no question that fans can’t get enough of Bryan, which is a good thing as he’s headed back out on the road for his Word On The Street Tour in May.

Before that, though, the country singer can be seen as a judge on American Idol, which returns on Monday, January 24.
