The mother and daughter sported matching hairstyles for the royal family’s Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace
Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte are having a matching moment at King Charles’ Christmas luncheon.
On Dec. 16, the Princess of Wales, 43, and her 10-year-old daughter matched their fashion for the King’s Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace, which they attended with Prince William, Prince George, 12, and Prince Louis, 7.
Princess Kate and Princess Charlotte twinned in shades of red for the festive feast, which was a private gathering for the royal family and a tradition King Charles has continued from the late Queen Elizabeth’s reign. The Princess of Wales wore a red outfit patterned with white hearts, polka dots and pussybow detail, upping the glam with a pair of dangling white Van Cleef & Arpels earrings that were already in her jewelry box.
Princess Kate wore her hair half-up and accessorized with a black velvet hair bow, twinning her hairstyle with that of her only daughter.
Princess Charlotte complemented her mom in a burgundy outfit with a collar and also wore her hair in a half-updo with a coordinating ribbon.
The mother-daughter matching moment wasn’t the only one within the Wales family for the Christmas luncheon, as Prince William, 43, and Prince George also sported dark jackets with white shirts and patterned ties.
The British royals are known to coordinate their outfits for group occasions, and the Prince and Princess of Wales’ family recently matched their fashion at Kate’s “Together at Christmas” carol service on Dec. 5
Prince William, Prince George and Prince Louis all sported navy suits, while Princess Charlotte complemented their outfits in a navy dress. Prince George and Princess Kate also shared a style moment, as his green tie matched her green coat.
