There have been numerous tributes to Ozzy Osbourne since the heavy metal legend’s death last year. However, this latest one may take the cake. Crafted by the French artist Philippe Pasqua, this sculpture stands at the entrance to Hellfest, a metal festival in Clisson, France, taking place today, June 18, through June 21.

It features the Prince of Darkness smiling wickedly as he raises his hands to the sky. Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy’s widow, was supposed to attend the statue’s unveiling earlier this week. However, she shared that a medical emergency kept her from attending. We have the details below.

Is Sharon Osbourne OK?

In a video highlighting the unbelievable statue, Sharon explained in the caption why she couldn’t attend its unveiling in France.

“I’m sorry I couldn’t be at Hellfest for the unveiling of Ozzy’s statue,” she wrote. “Unfortunately I had an unexpected trip to the hospital earlier in the week.  A big thank you Olivier Garnier, Ben Barbaud and everyone at Hellfest. Special thank you to @philippe_pasqua_officiel for the absolutely stunning statue!”

Sharon did not share why she was in the hospital.

Things Have Been Tough for Sharon Since the Death of Ozzy Osbourne

Ozzy died on July 22, 2025, of a heart attack. Sharon became the legend’s manager in 1979, after he was fired from Black Sabbath. The couple then married in Hawaii in 1982.

Before his funeral, sources shared that Sharon was “heartbroken but very proud of the life the family built together. Everyone’s rallying around her. She’s been the rock of this family for decades, and now it’s her turn to be held up.”

Months after Ozzy’s funeral, Sharon thanked fans for their well-wishes.

“I’m still having trouble finding the words to express how grateful I am for the overwhelming love and support you’ve shown on social media,” she wrote on Instagram. “Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know. None of it has gone unnoticed, in fact, it’s carried me through many nights.”

However, fans have been concerned about the 73-year-old’s drastic weight loss over the last several years. Here’s hoping she feels better soon.
